Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering
Justin Haldar is affiliated with the Signal and Image Processing Institute, the Dynamic Imaging Science Center, the Brain and Creativity Institute, and the Dornsife Neuroscience Imaging Center. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2011 from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses primarily on inverse problems and computational imaging, with a major emphasis on the development of new data acquisition and signal processing methods for improved and accelerated magnetic resonance imaging. His work has been recognized with a number of awards, including an NSF CAREER award and best paper awards at the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine in Biology Conference.
